Within the sustainable development frame, energy acquires a very important role. Due the growth in energy demands, mainly on industrial transport and domestic sectors, at AGECAM we are implementing techniques towards solving the environmental problems associated to the economic development

Referring to the current energy model, must includes important terms such as efficiency, power saving and the use of that entire power savings to other economical sectors.

By using renewable energies, there is an alternative to the long-established ways on exploiting and using traditional and finites ways of energy such as petrol, gas and other forms of fossil fuel getting, by this way, a balance among territories and a reduction on foreign energy dependency.

These renewable energies, on its many different ways –PH, wind power, biofuel…- are establishing on a very traditional sector representing by conventional ways of energy. In addition, help to the development of new technologies in our region as well as new job opportunities and its diversification.

On the other hand, AGECAM, which aim is communicating, arousing about the benefits of the renewable energies, and to spread and promote the use of these energies, has created a new are of investment to finance some of the companies and station created at the region for this proposal.
